Our focus on this Kirkland living room and kitchen remodeling project was to create an open floor layout promoting comfort and interaction. The centerpiece is a custom concrete finished fireplace that blends modern design with traditional warmth. We strategically moved the windows to maximize natural light and vaulted the ceiling for added visual space.
In the kitchen, the heart of the home, we installed an island for culinary activities and connections. The flooring was replaced for durability and the color palette and material choices were carefully curated to balance modern aesthetics with practicality. Gold fixtures on pristine white cabinets exude timeless elegance. The white granite countertop on the island harmonizes with the gray granite countertops, creating a cohesive visual narrative. From start to finish, the transformation of this remodeling project was incredible.
Our home is a 1960s rambler that was in desperate need of a kitchen remodel and opening of living area floor plan, Verum was recommended to us by several people and we hired them to take on this project. Andy, our project manager was timely, open to all of our ideas, and was able to easily implement each addition to our remodel as we created our dream design. Their designers were creative and precise and truly captured our vision. Our project was no small matter, they reframed our roof and vaulted our ceilings, built us a fireplace and created new windows in each area of our living space just to name a few things. They truly brought the outdoors inside which is just what we wanted. Through out our 14 week project they communicated with us well, responded to our requests, and picked up the pace when we really needed them to. Our appliances were ordered and ready, we had a set back with our flooring back ordered, but they were still able to complete our project in a timely manner.
The overall quality of the construction is truly a work of craftsmanship. They are an excellent team of talented finish workers and ensured that we were happy with everything. There was an issue with the cabinets being drilled improperly and they promptly took them down and fixed them and brought them back perfectly. Each piece of our project was handled well, talked through and we had a major role in the entire process which was very affirming. We are so so happy with the end product. We cannot say enough good about the work done in our home and the respect we have for this company, and the mutual respect they showed us. The way this remodel has changed our life and how we live in our home has been so amazing. Thank you, Verum!
